The Micro-Brewery program is an industry focussed course giving participants the opportunity to either obtain the necessary skills and knowledge required to gain employment in a Craft Brewing or alternatively formalise and build on their existing knowledge, having been or currently are employed in the industry.

Participants will gain a sound knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures including;

Operating the can filling process

Set up a packaging line

Labelling

Packaging equipment

Food safety and quality

Manufacturing processes

Duration

Workplace Delivery – 12 months, part time, on site at workplace. Must be employed by a Brewery.

Delivery

Brewery Classroom Delivery – Practical components – on-site commercial micro/craft brewery with Theory component – classroom and distance delivery.

Workplace Delivery – On site at workplace. Must be employed by a Brewery.
